On 1, 2 and 3 June, I was responsible for the Epikute Practice Course – Advanced Implantology Training at the Lisbon Centre for Aesthetics and Oral Rehabilitation.
It was an intense few days of surgery, with a block of theory, a hands-on practical component, surgeries and even rehabilitations in immediate function, where several implants were placed by me and the students.
It is in this synergy between the Clinic, the Academy and Research that I believe it makes sense and all the difference in this Global approach that I take to Oral Surgery and Implantology, in the context of Complex Oral Rehabilitation, where new challenges arise every day, new opportunities for learning, growth and the evolution of Medicine in general and Surgery in particular.
