Dr. Luis Pinheiro is currently developing projects such as: Training in Advanced Implantology and Advanced Oral Surgery for Portugal with the Straumann Group.
Research with the Lusíadas Saúde Group through the Lusíadas Knowledge Center, also in the area of Advanced Oral Implantology, incorporation of technology, and its study on patients’ quality of life.
He was a Trainer at the Multinational Company S.I.N. – Implant System, your Mentor and Scientific Consultant for Portugal and International Speaker. From 2009 to October 2023, he has more than 1500 accredited hours as a trainer in the area of Oral Surgery, Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation.
Training is part of his annual calendar, where he teaches various types of programmes, from training for dentists who want to start out in the field of implantology and oral rehabilitation, to more specific and advanced courses from a surgical point of view, such as bone grafts and zygomatic implants.
National and international lecturer, with several scientific publications, from posters to articles in indexed international journals.
It is in the field of research and scientific publication that Dr Luis Pinheiro likes to seek answers to his needs and doubts in his Daily Clinical Practice.

Dr Luis Pinheiro had the international opportunity, at the largest congress in South America and one of the largest and most important at a global level, to show and publicise his work and his line of scientific research.
“THINKERS – SPECIAL EDITION” – SCIENCE AND RESEARCH FROM UNIVERSITIES TO CLINICS.
On 27 September 2022, I had the opportunity to be in Switzerland, specifically in the beautiful city of Geneva, for the international scientific event – “Thinkers, Special Edition” – powered by S.I.N. – Implant System. I was part of a Portuguese delegation representing our research projects and sharing information with groups from other countries, thus discussing the future of implantology worldwide. New clinical and research projects and protocols emerged from this meeting so that we can bring the science created in universities and laboratories to our clinics and our patients.
