This was one of those days I will remember forever.
After two days of evaluation at the University of Barcelona, I was admitted to the European Board of Oral Surgery, together with my colleague and friend, Dr. Fernando Duarte.
With great pride, I share a few snapshots of a milestone moment in my career: successfully passing the European Board of Oral Surgery exam. A demanding and challenging stage that marks yet another step on the path of rigour and excellence I have chosen to follow in oral surgery.
The city of Barcelona was the perfect setting for this moment — with its beauty, energy, and of course, the iconic Faculty of Dentistry that welcomed us.
I’m grateful for all the support from our Portuguese Society of Oral Surgery, especially my colleague and friend Dr. Fernando Duarte, as well as all the other colleagues and professors who were part of this journey. It was a privilege to share this weekend with such dedicated and inspiring professionals.
